The following steps will allow you to subscribe to any Practice Calendar and you will automatically get updates in your iPhone/iPad calendar program whenever it syncs.
1) Using the Safari app on your iPhone, click the Practice Calendar link of the sport you want to subscribe to below to create an email message.
2) Put in your iPhone's email address on the To: line and hit send.
3) Using the Mail app on your iPhone, open the email message you just sent yourself
4) Touch the web link in the message.
5) Touch "SUBSCRIBE" to the pop-up question asking if you want to subscribe to the calendar.
6) You will have to do this for each sport you wish to subscribe to.
Once that is done, you can confirm that the calendar is added to your iCal by going into the Calendar application on the iPhone/iPad, touch the Calendars button at the upper left of the screen and the calendar you added should be listed under the “Subscribed” section, probably with a colored dot to the left.
· If there is a check mark to the right of the name of your sport, the calendar is on and set to sync and display.
· If you want to turn it off at any time you can just touch on the sport name in that list and the check mark will disappear, disabling that calendar.
· If you want to permanently delete the sport calendar from your iPhone/iPad (e.g. after the season is over),
o Launch Settings app
o Go to “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” > “Subscribed Calendars”
o Once there, touch the sport calendar to be deleted
o Scroll to the bottom and touch the large red button that says “Delete Account”
o Touch “Delete Account” again in the pop-up to confirm you want to delete it.
I would like to give credit and thanks for these directions to Mr. Leis!
